Maria Frattura Jazzed Up Trio has been playing in and around the Boston area for several years. Her musical influences include iconic performers such as Laura Nyro with Labelle, Motown harmony groups, Al Jarreau, and Joni Mitchell, to name a few. Maria began her vocal performing and studies with the a capella groups, Liberty Belle chorus and Boston Skyline Chorus. Before this, Maria formed several bands, playing a mix of jazz, pop, R&B and Rock. With the Jazzed Up Trio she has found her right blend: with pianist/bassist, and vocalist Keith Kirkpatrick; and a saxophonist, Gary Tepolt who also switches things up with playing the flute and clarinet.
