Health & Safety Measures

The Topsfield Fair is adhering to all current Massachusetts and Town of Topsfield COVID-19 regulations and guidance and has taken action to protect the health and well being of our customers and employees.

If you are sick or have been sick in the last 24 hours, please DO NOT ATTEND – plan to visit the fair in 2022.

If you come to the fair, you are encouraged to wear a mask.

What Are We Doing To Protect Our Guests:

  • Cleaning, fogging, and disinfecting all buildings daily
  • Additional hand washing stations and hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the fairgrounds – please use them!
  • COVID-19 Vaccines will be available during the length of the Topsfield Fair at the Topsfield Health Department booth in the Fair Trade Center
  • Free masks will be offered to everyone at the doors of our buildings by volunteers of the Massachusetts Medical Reserve Corps.

Topsfield Fair follows the recommendations of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Effective May 29, 2021, the state’s Mask Order was changed to a Mask Advisory. The Topsfield Health Department strongly recommends all people to wear masks inside buildings and in crowded settings.

Masks will be required in the following areas/situations regardless of vaccination status:

  • In First Aid stations and any area in which first aid is being administered.
  • On Public Safety personnel and others assisting with first aid or similar emergencies.
  • On all shuttles to and from the Topsfield Fair including employee vans and other group transportation.
  • Within the vaccination site on the Fairgrounds.

Unvaccinated staff/volunteers or staff/volunteers who are not fully vaccinated (2 weeks past vaccination for single dose, 2 weeks past 2nd dose for a two-dose series) are encouraged to wear a mask while at Topsfield Fair. Unvaccinated staff or staff not fully vaccinated will continue to follow our previous policy of self-certification prior to each shift and must wear a mask until such time that this policy changes.

Visitors, staff, and any other constituents to the Topsfield Fair will be strongly encouraged to wear masks inside buildings regardless of vaccination status.

COVID-19 Exposure is an inherent risk in any public locations where people are present; Guests should only attend after evaluating their own health risks. Adherence to the current guidelines will assist in our efforts to present a safe and successful fair. Frequently use hand washing stations and hand sanitizer that will be readily accessible throughout the fairgrounds. The Topsfield Fair cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit.

Possession of a ticket or pass and entry to the Topsfield Fair constitute your understanding of these risks and your willingness to undertake the risk of exposure.

Topsfield Fair sincerely appreciates your understanding and cooperation to bring our guests a safe and fun fair.
