Statewide Agricultural Fairs Judging Workshop

May 30, 2015 8:00 am until 4:00 pm

MDAR (Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources) will present an Agricultural Fair Judging Workshop at Coolidge Hall on the Topsfield Fairgrounds. In order to be a Certified Judge for Fruits, Vegetables, Canning, and Community/Grange Exhibits, a judge candidate needs to attend instructional training.

Maine Morgan Horse Show

Extreme Mustang Makeover

August 07, 2015 - August 08, 2015

The Extreme Mustang Makeover is coming to Massachusetts in the summer of 2015! This wild horse training competition will offer two divisions: Youth, ages 8-17, can compete with a mustang they adopt in-hand for an estimated $5,000 and adults, ages 18 and over, will ride their assigned mustang in preliminary classes to compete for a spot in the top 10 freestyle finals to earn their share of $20,000. All adult mustangs will be available for adoption after the event.
