All fruit must be grown, selected and arranged by exhibitor.
Rules & Regulations
- EXHIBITS MUST BE BROUGHT TO THE FRUIT BUILDING, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, BETWEEN 7:00 P.M. AND 9:00 P.M.
- No exhibit will be entitled to a prize or other award unless it possesses points of superiority; and no award will be made to unworthy objects, though they may be the only ones of their kind on exhibition.
- No exhibitor shall be permitted to make more than one entry in any class except Classes AA1, BB1, A21, A22, A27, C1, E1, E2, G3 and G5.
- All fruits are to be raised by the exhibitor.
- Meritorious exhibits not listed for premium will receive due recognition.
- All fruits must be correctly named to receive prizes.
- Special cases will be arranged for any recognized fruit of merit if there are three entries, or at discretion of the Fruit Committee.
- All exhibits remain in place until Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
Score Card
- Whether the fruit is actually scored or not, the following score card shall be the basis on which all plates shall be judged.
- In classes involving more than one variety, the score of fruit shall be considered two-thirds, and the value of the varieties one-third, in awarding Premiums.
- Points awarded as follows:

EXPLANATION
- Form of Fruit: Should be smooth, regular and typical of the variety.
- Size of Fruit: Not too large, typical of the variety.
- Color of Fruit: All specimens be as well-colored as the season permits.
- Uniformity of Fruit: All specimens must be of the same size, color, ripeness and form.
- Condition shall include: Freedom from: (a) mechanical injuries, (b) insect injury of all kinds, (c) fungus injuries and excessive spray residue. Hail injury will not disqualify. Apple Maggot will disqualify.

Farm Stand Display
Special Rules & Regulations
- Only one (1) farm stand exhibit per exhibitor.
- Entry must be made with the Chairman one week in advance of opening day of Fair.
- The stand will be 12 feet long, 4 feet high and 3 feet deep. If space is limited Chairman may change display size.
- The score card, based on a commercial type of display, will be used.
- General appearance is important.
- All fruit must be polished.
- Dummying allowed, but not to be seen.
- Fruit must be grown by exhibitors.
- Commercial advertisement is to be encouraged.
- All signs may be according to the exhibitor's own design.
- No plastic fruit.
- Please be aware of the use of flammable items within display.
