THE JUNIOR AND SENIOR SHOWS ARE SEPARATELY SANCTIONED, 2013 ADGA RULES SHALL GOVERN.

The Senior Doe show will be held first followed by the Junior Doe show.
The order of breeds shown are as follows: ND, Rec. Grade, Toggenburg, Lamancha, Saanen, Nubian, Oberhasli and Alpine.
The order of show is not subject to change.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Entries, fees and a copy of 2013 health papers must be sent to Topsfield Fair postmarked no later than September 12, 2013. Entry Fee $3.00 each animal, payable to Topsfield Fair. Substitutions within classes only. There will be no day of show entries in either the regular classes or the specialty classes.
  2. The base date is October 13, 2013, the day the animal is to be judged.
  3. The original registration certificate is required for all animals six months of age or older and this must be shown to the show secretary before the start of the show.
  4. The original registration certificate or duplicate application stamped by the ADGA office is required for all animals under six months of age and this must be shown to the show secretary before the start of the show. No copies of the registration certificate or the stamped application, telegrams or phone calls will be accepted in lieu of the original certificate.
  5. General Health Certificate is required per MA Dept. of Food and Agriculture 2013 rules.
  6. Animals must be in place by 9:00am and will be released at the end of the judging or 5:00pm whichever is latest. Violators will forfeit prize money.
  7. Judging will begin at approximately 9:30am. Exhibitors enter via River Gate, unload animals and remove vehicles from the fairgrounds to a special assigned parking section.
  8. Prize money will be given for two places per class per individual entry.
  9. The Grand Champion or Best of Breed must be present and compete for Best In Show or forfeit prize money and Grand Championship leg.
  10. There will be no pre-show milkout.
  11. The Show committee will be strictly enforcing the MA Dept of Agric rule that all exhibitors must be dressed in white or khaki clothing and wearing appropriate shoes, i.e. no bare feet or sandals.
  12. All animals must be shown in regular classes in order to be shown in specialty classes. PLEASE USE THE CORRECT ENTRY FORM FOR THIS SHOW. Prize money will be awarded to 5th place.
  13. All animals must be on display for the public to view.

Regular Classes $16.00 - $14.00 - $13.00 - $12.00 - $10.00
Specialty Classes $17.00 - $16.00 - $15.00 - $13.00 - $11.00

Please note the time of start and dismissal of this holiday show. Be aware that traffic entering the fairgrounds after 9:00am is very heavy. Early arrival is encouraged, we will not be able to hold up the show for exhibitors held up in traffic.
